Our Approach

TFC Associates bring over 30 years' experience working with groups and organizations across a  diversity of social identities.  We  can call on a number of experienced colleagues to bring their strengths and deep understanding of intersectionality to our work.

We are skilled in the art of facilitating cross-group communication and managing conflict,  and are grounded in respect for human dignity and the  value of multiple perspectives in creative problem-solving. We use the framework of inclusion and exclusion to analyze and remedy the sources of inequity, power arrangements and social separation, and we place the work for equity, and social justice at the heart of our practice whether in a workplace or in personal relationships.

We attempt to customize our consulting,  and training workshops based on the mission, learning styles,  needs and goals of the audience. Our interactive approach is designed to maximize participation, self-reflection , relevance,  so as to motivate people to plan their next steps and take action for change.
